The Lodge Ballina was excellent value for money, with a cozy hostel feel and a shared kitchen for a self-serve breakfast. The bed was comfortable and the room was lovely. The owner, Jack, was very friendly and accommodating, even extending our checkout time to help us get ready for a wedding. The location was fantastic, close to shops but tucked away and quiet. The adjacent restaurant, Dillons, served amazing food.

The soundproofing of the rooms is poor, as noises from the nearby bar and restaurant can be heard until late at night.

The room was clean and comfortable, with the best beds I've ever slept on. The location was perfect, right in the town, making it easy to explore the shops and grab a bite to eat. The staff, especially Jack, were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. I highly recommend this place.
The breakfast could have been improved with a wider variety of hot options.

We had a wonderful stay at this hidden gem in Ballina. The little flat we stayed in was exactly what we were looking for, with a separate entrance for easy access. The staff was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The breakfast area, complete with a toaster and various options like bread and cereal, was a delightful surprise. It was the perfect place to fuel up before a night of dancing at a wedding. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

The shared kitchenette area was a nice touch, with fresh fruit, juices, cereals. The people in the town were friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome wherever we went. The self check-in process was convenient and easy, and the room was exceptionally clean. The beds were incredibly comfortable and provided a great night's sleep. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the town, making it easy to explore and enjoy the local attractions. Plus, the nearby playground/park was a fantastic bonus for our romantic getaway.
While the bathrooms were clean, they didn't quite match the high standard of the rest of the hotel. They felt a bit low budget compared to the other excellent amenities provided.

For the money we paid, we got great value. The room was spacious and stylish, with a lovely French country decor. The location was ideal, right in the center of town, and the staff treated us with friendliness and helpfulness.
The only thing that could have been better was the morning meal. It would have been nice to have more options besides just a few cereals.
